Agricultural

Surveying

Data accurate to 2cm, from someone who understands what it means for your land

Surveys timed to your season, from August through to June

BETTER DECISIONS. LOWER INPUT COSTS. HEALTHIER CROPS.

I fly agricultural drone surveys across Suffolk and the wider East Anglia, capturing data accurate to 2cm so you can see what's happening in a field before it reduces your harvest.  Whether that's crop health, drainage, soil variability or harvest planning, the result is information you can actually use, not a folder of images to work out for yourself.

What A Survey Shows You

Every survey is built around your land and your season. That can mean a full check on crop health across a field so problems show up while there's still time to act, a look at how water is moving and pooling so drainage issues get fixed before they cost you down the road.

I also capture data to support harvest planning, so you're working from a clear picture rather than a guess.

Data Precision You Can Actually Trust

Survey data is captured to a target ground resolution of 2cm, conditions and site allowing. That level of detail means small problems show up early, while they are still cheap to fix, rather than three weeks later when they have already cost you the health of your crop.

It's also precise enough to trust for record-keeping and stewardship scheme evidence, not just a rough overview.

What Farmers Get

You don't get a folder of raw images to work out for yourself. You get clear, farmer-readable files, built around the decision you actually need to make, whether that's where to spend on inputs, what to flag to your agronomist, or what to keep an eye on before harvest.

Everything is delivered in a form you can act on straight away, not sit down and decode.

Agricultural

Spreading

Drone application of suitable seed and granular materials for arable farms, estates and managed land. Every enquiry is assessed around the material, field, intended application and conditions before work is agreed.

A useful option when taking machinery onto the ground is not the right fit.

Some spreading jobs call for a different approach, because access is restricted, ground travel is undesirable or a particular area needs separate attention. Drone spreading offers another way to deliver suitable material from above, with the work defined around the field and its constraints.

SEASONAL AVAILABILITY

Agricultural surveys run from August through to June. July is kept clear for harvest, on your farm and mine, so surveys never compete with the time of year that matters most.

SUFFOLK BASED

Suffolk is home ground, and most work happens here. I also cover the wider East Anglia region, including Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and Essex, as the business grows.

BUILT FOR FARMERS

I grew up farming in Suffolk and I still farm today, so when I fly a survey over someone else's land, I know what I'm looking at and what it means for their harvest. This isn't a sales pitch, it's one farmer helping another make a better decision.

About Nick

Nick Image

I grew up farming in Suffolk, in a family that has worked this land for generations. I know what it costs when a disease goes unnoticed for three weeks, and what it means to make decisions across hundreds of acres without enough information. Lux Drone Systems exists to close that gap, bringing drone technology together with real farming knowledge, so the data actually means something for your land or your building.
